Board Seats Online Voting Results
The following seats on the Travel Penticton Board of Directors are for the 2025-2027 2-year term:
- Accommodation (50 or more rooms) – two (2) seats
- Jessica Dolan representing Balcomo, A Ramada by Wyndham – Jessica wins a seat by acclamation
- Virender Sehgal representing Roadside Hospitality – Virender wins a seat by acclamation
- Accommodation (Less than 50 rooms) – one (1) seat
- Poonam Pratap representing Valleystar Motel – Poonam wins a seat by acclamation
- Attraction/Arts & Culture – one (1) seat
- James Shalman representing Apex Mountain Resort – With 18 votes out of 27 James wins the seat
- At Large – one (1) seat
- Donna Faigaux representing BC Wine Info Centre – With 16 votes out of 27 Donna wins the seat
*At Large means a representative of any tourism industry sector as deemed suitable by the Board of Directors whether or not outlined above.
- Donna Faigaux representing BC Wine Info Centre – With 16 votes out of 27 Donna wins the seat
- MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Events)/Sport Tourism) – one (1) seat
- Tracey Anderson representing Penticton Trade and Convention Centre – Tracey wins a seat by acclamation
- Restaurant/Retail – one (1) seat
- Kori Iceton representing The Hub on Martin – Kori wins a seat by acclamation
- Winery/Brewery/Distillery/Agritourism – one (1) seat
- Rebecca Mikulic representing Three Sisters Winery – With 15 votes out of 27 Rebecca wins the seat
Please note that only Voting Members of the Travel Penticton Society are eligible for nominations.
*Definition of Voting Member for 2025 Election in accordance with the Travel Penticton Society Constitution & Bylaws
Voting Members shall be those members:
- a) who own or operate a tourist accommodation facility of four (4) or more units, collecting MRDT within Penticton and surrounding area**; OR
- b) who carry on tourist related business at an address located within Penticton and surrounding area and have paid their annual membership fee.
AND:
- c) who are in good standing with the Society.
** Penticton and surrounding area include the City of Penticton and Regional District of Okanagan Similkameen (RDOS) Areas D, E, I & the portion of Area F covering West Bench and Sage Mesa.
